The popular BBQ smokehouse, Lagerheads was established in 2004, focusing on a secret recipe BBQ sauce and
hickory smoked meats made in house. Our restaurant has a down home feel with an enormous amount of history, including some original wooden beams from when it was built in the late 1800’s. After only 6 years since opening its doors, Lagerheads
has shown that its barbecue and food stands above the rest. To go along with the success of the fantastic food
and barbecue, Lagerheads owners’ and brothers’, Matt and Jon Kiene, decided it was time for more and recently
opened their own Micro Brewery.

 

Lagerheads micro brewery opened in June, 2010 and offers five flavorful brews on tap. These brews are the
perfect compliment to the award winning BBQ and hickory smoked meats. Lagerheads restaurant and micro brewery
were recently featured in several newspaper articles and magazines, including the front page of the Akron Beacon
Journal. These articles featured our great food and down home environment and recent success of our micro
brewery. Many more beers are scheduled to be on tap including seasonal beers.

In addition to the featured articles, Lagerheads has also been named Medina Gazette Best of the Best for our BBQ Wings and Ribs and we received the 2010 Rib Cook off Best Barbeque Sauce! It has been an exciting year for Lagerheads! So come on in and enjoy some great BBQ and kick back a cold Lagerhead
